What neither pricing page tells you

Basecamp: Pro Unlimited is a flat $299 per month, not per user. The break-even against the Plus plan is exactly 20 people, and past that the savings grow fast.

Basecamp: External collaborators are free on every plan. If you work with contractors or clients, the real comparison against per-seat tools is wider than it looks.

Monday.com: Every paid plan requires a minimum of 3 seats. A solo user on Basic pays $27 a month, not $9.
